Core Values

Science in Practice
Science in
Practice

"All models are wrong, but some are useful."

— George Box

Science is a powerful guide, not a one-size-fits-all solution. I value using the best available evidence to understand your context, not forcing your context to fit theories.

Meaningful Impact
Impact

"If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable."

— Seneca

Meaningful change begins with clarity about where you want to go. I value defining success before designing solutions, so every intervention is pointed in the right direction.

Partnership
Partnership

"People support what they help create."

— Margaret J. Wheatley

Meaningful change depends on involvement and commitment from the people expected to carry it forward. I value building partnerships with key stakeholders at every level, to see plans through.

Responsibility
Responsibility

"Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things."

— Peter Drucker

Organizational success and individual well-being shouldn't be in opposition. I value achieving greatness by empowering, invigorating, and nurturing those striving for it.

My Background

I'm American-born, raised between Sweden and the United States, and have lived and worked across parts of Europe, Asia, and the U.S. Growing up, I developed a deep interest in how people derive meaning from work, yet are so often negatively impacted by it. Now, my mission is to make this huge part of our lives as fulfilling, successful, and healthy as possible, for as many as I can.

I considered these issues in some of the most high-stakes, high-demand occupations on earth. While pursuing my PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, which I obtained from Clemson University, I was a researcher and consultant on collaborations with healthcare, military, and spaceflight industries. Our primary aim was to ensure that teamwork and leadership were effective and that individual well-being was preserved in these demanding environments.

Following this period, I was awarded a fellowship to visit Waseda University in Japan. My research focused on how remote and hybrid work (during COVID-19) impacted collaboration dynamics and the trade-off between individual flexibility and team synchrony. This ignited my interest in collaborations that happen across distances, cultures, and technologies.

I value my academic experiences, but I felt the pull to make a more direct impact and build an independent professional identity. After leaving Japan, and traveling for a year across India and Southeast Asia, I landed in Da Nang, Vietnam, and connected with local communities, entrepreneurs, and startups, whilst skill-building for AI literacy and client-focused consulting. This is the origin of Wavelength Consulting.
